Genebre Art3029 WRAS Approved Brass Ball Valves
The Genebre brass Art3029 WRAS-approved ball valves are a mid-pressure range product with a maximum operating pressure of 25 bar at up to 80°C, or 70°C on larger models and a maximum operating temperature of 120°C across all sizes. It is a lever ball valve with female BSPP parallel threaded ends according to ISO 228/1 constructed in chrome plated brass as UNE-EN 12165. The ball valve lever is manufactured from steel and comes complete with a blue covering for water identification.
This particular brass ball valve is a full-bore version but does have a shorter thread than our 40-bar (PN40) rated Genebre Art3020 ball valve. As with so many WRAS-approved ball valves, the Genebre Art 3029 is BSPP parallel threaded as well as is a very suitably priced valve for potable (drinking) water systems, it can be used on other low-pressure applications. Although for compressed air systems, many of our customers prefer the fuller threaded Genebre 3020 brass ball valve; the 3029 is still available for compressed air.
