Gases in heating & air conditioning installations can cause a variety of issues such as corrosion, deposits, noises, bad circulation as well as a drop in thermal power. Most gases in these systems come from the atmosphere such as oxygen or nitrogen, but others appear during the heating cycle including hydrogen, carbon dioxide, ammonia and methane among others.
The Art70037 automatic air vent removes air and accumulated gases in these installations during the filling process and allows air back in during the emptying process as well as the air purge at any radiator. The purge can not be made when there is fluid circulating within the system or when the air vent is installed directly over the pipe line. In these conditions the fluid must remain at rest for the purge to be effective.
