BS EN 10241:2000 Steel Pipe Fittings to for Process Steam

Purely from our own experience the most common use of steel pipe fitting to BS EN 10241:2000 (BS1740-1:1971) are on process steam systems in conjunction with steel tube to BS EN 10255:2004 (BS1387:1985). The range of fittings available is not as wide as our malleable iron pipe fittings but still offers all you should ever need to install any low-pressure steam system (0-12Bar). The advantage of using this range of steel pipe fittings to BS EN 10241:2000 (BS1740-1:1971) as opposed to its malleable iron cousin is in the fact that steel pipe fittings have superior mechanical properties including higher tensile strength.
