TLV Steam Trap Survey
Faulty or incorrectly installed steam traps can reduce efficiency and steam quality, increase costs and maintenance as well as prevent compliance with environmental standards. It can also turn a well-designed steam system into a safety hazard, with the risk of injury to personnel.
TLV steam trap survey uses the computerised TM5 Trapman steam inspection system is suitable for any facility using process steam. The TM5 diagnostic tool and it software compares ultrasonic and temperature readings with known laboratory data to determine whether a steam trap is operating correctly or not. If it has failed, the system can determine the amount of steam lost through leakage.
