Action Can RX-90 red oxide anti-rust primer spray is for use on clean bare metal to prevent rusting or on lightly rusted metal to prevent further deterioration, it can also be overcoated on most popular paints and is suitable for commercial and industrial settings.
For best performance, the surfaces should be clean, and free from oil or grease when applying RX-90, if applying to a painted surface, be sure to remove any loose or flaky paint with a wire brush to obtain a smooth clean surface.
