Globe Valves

Typically, a globe valve would be installed to regulate or throttle the flow through a pipeline system. Unlike the gate valve which achieves shut off by moving the disc across the flow; the globe valve achieves this by moving the disc against the flow stream. A globe valve flow pattern involves changes in direction which result in increased flow resistance and therefore a higher drop in pressure. Globe valves are excellent for use in on and off service, but they are better suited to regular cycling and control of fluids.
Our globe valves are supplied by Genebre and Albion Valves so you’re guaranteed a quality product, currently, we offer BSPT taper threaded and PN16 flanged models in bronze or carbon steel with sizes up to 8″ available.
