SJ-Series Mechanical Steam Traps

TLV SJ-series mechanical steam traps are available here, this includes ductile iron SJ3FV, SJ5VX, SJ7VX steam traps suitable for both horizontal and vertical pipework installation, we also offer the SJH5X. All of these mechanical steam traps come with PN25/40 flanged ends to BS EN 1092-1 (DIN 2501) and have a variety of differential pressure ranges.
SJ Steam traps all use a stainless steel free float mechanism, this rises with condensate flow, opening the valve to drain the condense, and falls again to close the valve when steam enters the trap. All of these free float steam traps include a built-in strainer to protect internal components as well as a thermostatic X-element air vent for quick start-up and automatic venting of air until close-to-steam temperature.
