S-Series Mechanical Steam Traps

TLV’s S-series stainless steel mechanical steam traps are available here in sizes 1/2″ – 2″ with BSPT threaded, socket weld or flanged ends. These traps are designed for steam mains and traces, they’re suitable for horizontal or vertical pipework and are available with a variety of orifice sizes to suit various differential pressures.
This range includes the SS1N, SS3N, SSV3 & SS5N all of which use TLV’s free float mechanism to open and close the valve, draining condensate as needed. All S-series free float steam traps feature a built-in strainer for protection of internal components and a bi-metal automatic air vent for fast start-up. SS1’s have up to a 200kg/h discharge capacity, increasing to 300kg/h on SS3’s and 800kg/h on the SS5.
