TLV J5X / JF5X Ductile Iron Free Float Steam Traps

TLV J5X (BSPT threaded) & JF5X (PN16 flanged) ductile iron mechanical free float steam traps come in sizes up to 2″ (50mm). These TLV steam traps are available with many differential pressure ranges and discharge capacities up to 1000kg/h. All TLV J5X’s use a spherical stainless steel free float which rises and falls with condensate flow, opening the valve to discharge condense and closing when steam enters.
These mechanical steam traps are all in-line repairable due to their removable cover, they also have a built-in strainer to protect internal components as well as a thermostatic X-element air vent for fast start-up and air venting until close-to-steam temperature. The free float provides infinite sealing surfaces and reduces concentrated wear for a long service life.
