TLV J6SX Stainless Steel Free Float Steam Traps

We offer TLV J6SX stainless steel mechanical free float steam traps in sizes 1/2″ (15mm) – 1” (25mm) with BSPT threaded ends. These TLV steam traps are available with a variety of differential pressure ranges and up to a 3.5t/h discharge capacity. All J6SX steam traps feature a built-in strainer to protect internal components and use a free-float mechanism.
The free float rises and falls with condensate flow, rising to open the valve to discharge condensate and falls to close the valve when steam enters the trap, it’s spherical nature provides infinite sealing surfaces to reduce wear and extend service life. TLV’s J6SX also includes a thermostatic X-element air vent with fail open, it ensures a quick start-up and automatically vents air until close-to-seam temperature.
