BS EN 10255 Steel Pipe

We offer a full range of BS EN 10255 steel pipe and tube from stock, over the years this material has been known by many names including BS 1387 steel tube, gas list, steam tube, blue band, red band and many others. Our EN 10255 steel pipe is available from stock in full random 6.5m and half random 3.25m lengths, in terms of connections we can supply tubes with plain ends, BSPT taper screwed and socketed as well as grooved ends.
BS EN 10255 tube is available in a range of finishes, these include red oxide primer painted, HDG galvanised and self-colour, also known as black or unfinished steel. Each finish is available in both medium and heavy wall thicknesses to suit just about any pressure requirement. Available sizes start from 1/2″ (15mm) nominal bore and go up to 6” or DN150. So whether you fit a sprinkler system, diesel, petrol or oil line, non-potable water system or even planning to weld or coat the tube yourself we’ve got the right material, finish, grade and size for you!
Our steel tube to BS EN 10255:2004 is produced in Europe by one of two leading manufacturers, these being Yucel Boru and Borusan Mannesmann, the material is also dual certified to the BS EN 10217-1:2002 standard and even conforms to the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014/68/EU. This material is fully traceable to the manufacturer and can be supplied with test certification.
