Rigid Couplings

We offer a full range of rigid grooved couplings from Viking, this includes sizes 1 1/4″ – 16″ as well as red-oxide primer painted, HDG galvanised and epoxy white finishes. Rigid couplings securely join grooved pipe and fittings in a manner similar to a threaded or welded joint in that it allows no movement, EPDM rubber seals are included as standard.
These ductile iron couplings are often used in fire protection systems and come with a variety of relevant approvals include FM, UL, LPC & VdS. All of these 1G rigid couplings can be installed without any hot working or specialised tools, bolts & hex nuts are included. Up to 500 PSI (34.5 bar) pressure rated depending on size, grooved lubricant should be used (available separately).
