Galvanised Handrail Tube

Our full range of galvanised handrail tube can be found below, this includes 3/4″ (20mm) – 2″ (50mm) nominal bore pipe which conforms to the BS EN 10255:2004 standard, previously BS1387 and is suitable for use with FastClamp handrail fitting as well as DDA range disabled handrails. All of this tube is HDG galvanised mild steel with plain ends and a medium wall thickness which has been manufactured in Europe by Borusan Mannesman or Yucel Boru and can be supplied with 3.1 mill test certification.
The hot-dipped galvanised exterior prevents corrosion and rusting that may occur over time, especially on outdoor handrail installations which are exposed to the elements. All of this EN 10255 handrail tube is dual certified to EN 10217-1 and is compliant with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 2014/68/EU.
