• Cut the tube square
• De-burr the internal and external tube ends
• Clean the tube ends with wire wool
• Check to ensure there are no burrs or sharp edges on the tube
• Mark the tube using the M-Press Depth Gauge
• Remove the press fittings from the bag
• Fully insert the fitting to the depth gauge mark on the tube
• Only begin pressing when you are certain the fitting and the seal are in the correct position
• Do not Press unsupported fittings or pipe (The correct support brackets must be installed)
• Insert the correct jaws into your machine
• Place the jaws over the fitting in the correct position maintaining a 90° angle between the tube and the jaws
• Press the trigger on your press fitting machine and wait for the machine to complete its cycle
• Remove the press fitting jaws and machine from the fitting
• Please ensure that your Press Fittings machine has an up-to-date calibration certificate as this could affect your warranty.
