FastClamp handrailing products are manufactured from malleable iron to BS EN 1562 or ductile iron and were noted on the fittings to BS EN 1563 and are available in sizes from 20mm (3/4”) to 50mm (2”) nominal bore. The primary purpose of this product range is to build handrailing for walkways or ramps but it has many other uses which include dividing stalls in large stables, sports netting, perimeter fencing for sports fields and many other uses far too numerous to mention in a short blog such as this one.

Fastclamp handrailing requires no welding, drilling or special tools to install, it can be put together using a simple hexagon key and to make life even easier we can offer a ratchet version if required. Once you have ensured the pipe is straight and at the correct angle simply tighten the setscrews on the fittings into the tube, Fastclamp handrailing fittings will support an axial load of up to 900Kg when tightened to a torque of 39Nm.

FastClamp handrail castings are hot dipped galvanised to BS EN ISO 1461 as standard but are available to order in a powder-coated finish to RAL standard colours, subject to quantity and availability from the coaters, for more information on this or any Fastclamp handrailing-related matter please contact our sales team or download the latest Fastclamp guide by clicking the highlighted link.
